Strawberry season arrives early! Create a strawberry dish and you could win an iPad and be featured in Kids Who Love to Cook!
It’s easy, just follow the contest guidelines:
- Go to your local farmers or greenmarket and buy some strawberries.
- Make a dish with the strawberries. Be creative — you can make a pasta dish (whaa?), like Spaghetti with Balsamic, Strawberries and Black Pepper, a salad such as Strawberries with Field Greens, Fennel and Brie Croutons, Strawberry Sorbet, Strawberry, Banana and Chocolate Milkshake, Strawberry and Nutella Crepes, Strawberry Fool, pie, pastries…you can make anything, sweet or savory!
You can create an entirely new (original) dish, or use and adapt from published recipes. Just tell us where the recipe is from, and what changes you made, for e.g. you used less sugar and substituted cranberries for raisins, etc. Be creative, have fun, taste and try different flavors!
- Send us the recipe and pictures. Send us pictures of the finished dish including step-by-step photos while you were making it. Share the dish with your family and friends! Please also send pictures of you and your family eating and enjoying your creation. We’ll post the most fun photos in our website & newsletter!
